Scriptures exhort Believers to be conformed to the image of Christ. We know that Jesus was compassionate, powerful, and many other things. But was Jesus financially poor? We will take a look at this controversial topic.

Key statement-an impoverished person is someone who does not have a relationship with God and his fellow man.

Poverty Scriptures

Ecclesiastes 9:13-16 a poor man words are not heard

Proverbs 19: 4, 7, poverty separates a person from others around them

Faith is the most important subject a Believer can master after becoming a citizen of the Kingdom. All of God promises are received by faith and He requires us to live by this supernatural force. This lesson will help us as we determine to master this important topic.

What does the Bible say about Faith

Habakkuk 2:2-4 just live by faith

Romans 1:17 righteous live by faith

Galatians 3:11 righteous live by faith

Hebrews 10:35-39 righteous live by faith

Hebrews 11:6 impossible to please God

What is Faith and when are you in Faith

Faith is the (heavenly) substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

Believing and acting on the Word of God

The Four Components of Faith

1. Word of God (written or spoken)

Ephesians 2:4-8 saved by grace through Faith

Faith comes strictly from the Word of God. You must receive a heard Word!

2. Believing Heart

Mark 11:22-24 a doubtless heart will cause you to have what you say

2^nd Corinthians 4:16-18 fixing your eyes on the unseen

The Word of God can only work in a Believing Heart.

Defeating Doubt

Doubt is one of the main weapons of the enemy. Satan is always attacking believers because he knows that we are the answer to this world’s problems. This lesson will expose his tactics and give us some tools to defeat him.

Doubt- a wavering of opinion or belief, lack of conviction, a lack of trust or confidence.

Key Statement-doubt causes you to hesitate and change your perspective which in turn brings about your destruction.

Satan’s two major targets for doubt attacks

1. God’s word (Numbers 23:19; Psalm 119:89)

2. Christian’s Confidence (constantly bombards us with doubt regarding our gifts, talents, purpose, and past life, etc)

Nine consequences of doubting

1. Causes you to disobey God’s mandate to live by faith

2. Stops individuals from receiving the full benefit of righteousness

3. Makes your prayers and words powerless (Mark 11:22-25; 1^st Samuel 3:19)

4. Stops individuals from entering into the Kingdom

5. Calls God a liar (implies God is not telling the truth)

6. Causes you to miss out on God’s best (Numbers 14:20-23)

7. Causes God to use someone else to get the job done (Judges 4:4-9)

8. Stops you from putting your full weight down on the gospel

9. Causes you to miss out on the miracles of God (Matt 13:53-58; Matt 14:27-31)

How to defeat doubt

1. Get in the word (word lets us know who we are, what we have, and what we can do)

2. Know what you know (Matthew 4:1-11/don’t let anyone or anything move you)

3. Surround yourself with the right people (Luke 1:39-45)

How to Reach into Heaven for Answers

We are living in a day where problems abound. The traditional ways of solving problems are proving to be antiquated and useless. As Christians we have the ability to tap into revelation knowledge which is the highest level of knowledge known to mankind. As we access revelation knowledge we will shine and manifest the Kingdom of God in the earth.

Key Statement- the significant problems we face today cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them. _Albert Einstein

Two types of knowledge available to mankind

1. Natural knowledge (based on education, reasoning, information, logic, etc)
2. Revelation knowledge (comes from the Father and the Holy Spirit via different channels)

Key Statement- You and I are ambassadors/supernatural individuals who operate on heaven and earth simultaneously. (Ephesians 2:6)

Resting in The Assurance of God’s Protection

We are living in the troublesome days the Bible has predicted. There are wars, earthquakes, and all sorts of disasters taking place. In these turbulent times we must know that God watches over us. Whether the attacks come via people, situations, or circumstances we have a covenant of protection with the Father.

Key Statement- you and I must be place more confidence in God’s protection than in the destructive forces of this world.

We are in the year of Divine Order. As you are getting your list together of the things to get in Divine Order don’t forget to include the words you speak. Our words must flow in God’s Divine Order in order to prosper in 2011.

Key Statement- Your words can cause you to miss out on God’s best as well as shorten your lifespan.

Why you must put your words in Divine Order

1. Man is a speaking spirit with delegated authority (John 4:24; Genesis 1:26-28; Psalm 8; Psalm 115:16)
2. Words are carriers of spiritual life (faith or fear/ John 6:63; Matthew 12:33-37)
3. Mouth/heart connection (Psalm 45:1; Romans 10:9-10; Mark 11:23)

The Power and Purpose of the Tithe

In this lesson we will examine the ordinance of Tithing. Tithing is a controversial subject that must be settled in a Christian’s heart and mind. It is estimated that less than twenty percent of the Body of Christ are tithers. The goal of this lesson is to grow that number!

Money is a stumbling block to many Christians! Erroneous teaching and Religious Charlatans have confused and robbed the Body of Christ of what is rightfully ours. In this lesson we will develop the right attitude towards money as well examine principles that will bring us into Kingdom wealth.

Key Statement-God does things spiritually and then manifests them naturally which means that you and I are already wealthy and rich!

The Five Kingdom Don’ts of handling money (attitudes)

1. Don’t love 1st Timothy 6:10; Ecclesiastes 5:10; Mark 12:29-31 Love God and people
2. Don’t covet Luke 12:13-21; Exodus 20:17 rich fool/ten commandments

The Bible tells us who we are, what we have, and what we can do! One of the most powerful promises we can claim is being the seed of Abraham. The Blessing of Abraham once reserved only for Jews became ours through Jesus.

Key Statement- knowledge, obedience, and faith are needed to operate in The Blessing of Abraham.

We can expect God to do 5 things for us as The Seed of Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3)

1. Multiply all that we have and the effectiveness of everything we do (Deuteronomy 8:12; Daniel 1:17-20) verse 2

2. Prosper/Wholeness (Genesis 24:1; Proverbs 10:22) verse 2

3. Promote (Joshua 3:7; Psalm 75:6-7; James 4:10) verse 2

4. Protect (Genesis 31:25-30; Psalm 91) verse 3

5. Channel of blessings for others spiritually/naturally (2nd Corinthians 5:20) verse 3

Key Definition-To Be a Blessing is to be used by God as an instrument of blessing preventing misfortune in the life of others.
